In order to synchronize the Auto operation mode between the Daikin Residential Controller app and The Sky Air wired remote controller, do the following:
Install and connect the BRC1E53 (or newer) remote controller to the Sky Air indoor unit. For installations using BRC1E, see the "How can I synchronize the BRC1H Auto operation mode between the Daikin Residential Controller app and a Sky Air unit?" FAQ item.
Set the minimum setpoint differential value to "None" on the the remote controller. See the steps below for more information.
Setting the minimum setpoint differential value on the remote controller
1. Press and hold the cancel button for 4 seconds or more to enter Service mode.
2. Select the "Min Setpoint Differential" menu.
3. Select the "None" setting.
In order to synchronize the room temperature between the Daikin Residential Controller app and the Sky Air wired remote controller, configure the field settings on the wired remote controller:
- Deactivate the remote controller thermostat , see the steps below for more information.
- Activate the indoor unit thermostat , see the steps below for more information.
Steps on the remote controller
Press and hold the cancel button for 4 seconds or more to enter Service mode.
2. Select the "Field Settings" menu.
3. Deactivate the remote controller thermostat . Set "Mode" to 10 and change the value of “2-*” to “2-02”.
4. Activate the indoor unit thermostat. Set “Mode" to 1c and change the value of "1-*” to “1-01”.
5. Press the Menu/OK button to save the modified field setting. Select "Yes" to confirm.
